Shaft is slightly to small to get started over the flat non tapered end of the pin. It's a mezz shaft and a sugatree butt. Both 3/8 10. Any thoughts. Thanks, Nate
I just did a shaft for a sugartree. The minor on the pin was .312". Instead of the normal, for me, .308". I ran a 5/16 reamer through the threads. Fits good now.
Larry
So all i need is a 5/16 reamer?
Or 5/16 drill.
Turn in upside down, wax it, and whack it down that hole .
Don't even need a lathe .
It's a hackery that works .
PS
I've asked the biggest joint screw maker not to mess up the 3/8 11 screw.
Don't make them at bastard .308 minor.
It just messes up the market.
I'm coming out with a 7/16-22 pin just for you, Joey.
