Hi! Does anyone have or know where I can obtain a 3/8-12 arbor for doing shaft work?

For a Tad cue?
Might have to get one made or call Tad himself.

Thanks for the reply and info. Actually I need it to work on a low end "Nick Varner" cue for a customer, and I thought it would be handy to have one in case I came across another pin like this one someday. If I can't come up with a budget friendly solution, I will just tell him I cant work on his cue.

Yahosh,

Take a look at my posting in this thread where I posted a picture of a "crutch tool": http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=39449

Depending on what type of work you need to do to the shaft, a crutch tool may be all you need to work on it and can be made relatively cheaply. I use maintenance pins for the "standard" sizes, but I've had to use the crutch tool once or twice. If you're just cleaning a shaft or doing a tip, it should work fine.

I thought the Nick Varner cues have the imported radial pins?
If they are the imported radial pin, Schmelke sells them. The tap too.

I can make that pin and arbor if you are interested. Some antique cues that pin also so I bought a tap and die.

How much would you charge to make me an arbor? I don't absolutely need the female part, just the male to do shaft work with.

I can make the whole thing out of brass for $25.

I'll take almost any form of payment. CC, money order, cash, check....

PM your contact info and I can give you a call Monday.

I just wanted to thank Rat cues for making me an excellent arbor for an excellent price. I am very grateful.
