This is the very hard-to-find bonded leather, out-of-print, 3lb hardcover, vastly improved 1996 2nd edition
of Winning One-Pocket--as taught by the game's greatest players (W1P).
Description: Eddie Robin's WINNING ONE-POCKET book is considered the best all-around book on one-pocket
(best on strategy is its "brother book," SHOTS, MOVES, & STRATEGIES (SMS); one of the other books in the set).
These books don't overlap; each covers different ground. The W1P covers rules, basics, and history of one-pocket,
and has the best short stories on one-pocket you’ll probably ever come across. Other chapters cover one-pocket break shots,
replies to the break, choice of shot—theory and practice, specific shots and moves, systems and methods,
as well as problems and solutions to be sure you've understood and can apply what was learned.
An absolute must for intermediate and professional levels; just ask anyone who actually owns a copy.
A great many photos and illustrations; 328 pages. 8.5 x 11, 3 lbs.
Co-authors: All co-authors won multiple national and/or world titles. Jack "Jersey Red" Breit, "Champagne" Ed Kelly,
Grady "Professor" Mathews, Leonard "Bugs" Rucker, Bill "Weenie Beanie" Staton, Eddie "Knoxville Bear" Taylor
worked in collaboration with billiard author, self-publisher and designer, Eddie Robin.
Also included in are: SHOTS, MOVES, AND STRATEGIES, as well as
the only one in existence POSITION PLAY that has the front inside cover pages inserted up-side down.
(Eddie personally held on to this book for over 20 years, the sticker
on the binding is part of his cataloging system.)
Both WINNING ONE POCKET and SHOTS, MOVES, AND STRATEGIES
are of the limited edition BONDED LEATHER version (only 100 sets produced)
with the co-authers signatures on the inside cover page,
as well as signed by Eddie Robin.
