3-cushion, the new leader of the pack?

pretty strong statement. kid just won his first real WC. torbjörn played a 2.7 average one year and dani sanchez has had a similar avg. cho has long way to go til he's the best ever.

amazing talent though. he made some very inspired shots to win the final

The fact is that he isn't even the best in the world now, let alone all time. There is some serious recency bias.

My wife and I spend a lot of time in Mexico City and go to various billiard venues. It fascinates me to see three cushion played by the better players. They make it look easy. After a while I get a table and attempt to emulate what I’ve been watching. It’s not easy. It’s the third cushion that usually gets me even though I know a lot of three cushion shots in one pocket but it’s not the same.

Was in Mexico City a few years ago and walked into a room but didn't play.

All looked pretty good. I have played elsewhere in Mexico and even entered a small local tournament a couple of year back.

He is not been able to play competitions due military and my opinion is based the skills he have. Of course he need to prove it competitive in future.

I agree we can't give the crown to him yet but his style of play, knowledge of the modern game and the enthusiasm with which he participates ar more than suggestive he will be at the top of the pile.

And I think it will be sooner, rather than later.

Banks like nobody's business. Take a safety game to slow him down.
