I know better.... Everyone knows better... But what could it hurt? I mean really what could it hurt??

On Saturday night I was moving things around the man cave getting ready to put up the beam this weekend that gets rid of my lolly column.... I carried my cue rack and chairs upstairs to the dining room and I leaned 3 cues up in the corner because I didn't have enough cases....

2 of them that were dead straight last week now have a little roll out to them... Just a friendly reminder... Don't lean your cues up against the wall... Bad stuff happens man.... And faster then you think.......
 
If the butt is straight and the shaft is slightly warped then just hang the cue from a cue hanger in your closet or something, the weight of the butt pulls down on the shaft, takes time but it does work. :wink:
 
Haha luckily the kitten's cue were put away.. I refuse to ever check my playing cue because I don't want to know........ The only reason I know these 2 were straight is because 1 is a '61 Abe Rich and one is a Pinoy cue I ordered a few years ago that I always check to see if it will warp.....

I guess if I lean them up again for longer they may be banana'd enough that the tip will always pass under my dominant eye regardless of where I put it LOL.....

according to my calculations, if you lean the cue against the wall for long enough, it will eventually become a circle...

The back and forth is what keeps me coming back here...

I get that you don't think the same way I do and that keeps me reminded that mine is not the only way to look at things.....

I use eye dominance like a swing thought in golf... If I use it that gives my conscious mind something to keep it out of my way when I play.... You may use rhythm or any number of other things..... You were dead on about autopilot but we all use different things to be able to flip that switch.....

Glad you can get the humor from a jibe or two as well =)

Gonna try the hanger thingies Lenny posted about.....
 
I wonder if you turn the curved shaft outward to the right, hit the CB on the right side, will you get more right english and to the left for more left english than you would otherwise get with a straight shaft?:wink:

Would this also work for top and draw?:thumbup:
