And don't say that your "fool" comments weren't directed at anyone in particular you pussy ass motherf#@*er. Stand up and be a man...it was directed at me and Silencer because we were the only two that came on and said something and your post followed right afterwards.

Your response to this was: "I am sorry if you really feel that way. It was not my intent. Your reasoning is flawed. Simply because I posted after you does not mean I was talking to you. If I wanted to direct comments toward you I would have either used your name or quoted your post".

So let me say it again you weasley pussy ass motherf#@*er. Stand up and be a man, admit it, it WAS directed at me and Silencer and it's what started this whole flame war off. Do you know why you can't admit it? Because you're a wimpy piece of f*#king shit that has no balls. Yet...this c*#ksucking idiot has the nerve to cry like a little baby, specifically citing me and Silencer by name over on Fast Larry's site and how we pick on him like a little girl that he is, and calls us names over there. You cunt! What are you going to bless us with now, more names of Predator users from that bogus list? I can assure you that a good number of names listed there don't use a Predator...Keith for one, and if they do, it's the B cue. Maybe more info on deflection? More of your asshole test results? This should set your little girl ass into a tizzy with multiple posts hereafter. You remind me of many a wife that has to get the last word in on all arguments so I'll never outlast that, I'm outta here on this thread once and for all. Go ahead and do your last ditch damage control, fag boy. I think after your primary name on here, in addition to Predator newbie, add Le Femme!

This just goes to show how truly classless some people are. Calling people little curse words and names will not help anything. All you are accomplishing here is making yourself look like an immature fool. Continue on if you want. I want you to, say some more nice things. I know you can do it. Make it real good this time.

Bingo.

You still have to compensate for squirt a *little* on certain shots.

But I still can't see how Predator would put more spin on the CB than a regular shaft with the same tip diameter/curvature.

Because the shaft bends or is pushed aside (before anyone starts the whole less mass thing) the tip stays in contact longer with the cue ball producing more spin with less effort. Any shaft you will have to make adjustments for, if you can go out and buy a shaft that is going to make those adjustment easier and make my play a little more consistant, why not use it.
this I posted today on another forum but it still fit
IMHO...The reason why alot of other companies do not produce Deflection technology products, is because of there attitude toward the business. Golf went through the same period back when drivers were switching from wood to metal. Most companies dont look at a cue as a peice of "sporting good equipment", and as such should always be tested and redefined. Today a person can drive the ball 100 to 150 yrds further because of sporting goods technology. Some people embrase change and try and use it to their advantage and some people hate change for any reason no matter what it offers them. That is the way of the world, or human nature.

Is it like pitching a ball - the longer the finger contact the greater the spin/curve vs. a knuckle ball?

My personal opinion
i played with predator when i was learning to play. by nature, i guess i never liked thick shafts (13mm or so) so when i first felt the 12.75 on it i liked it. so i lerned to play pool with a predator shaft.

i hate to say it, but predator is like an addiction. if you developed your game with it, every thing else never feels the same I am always buying into all these cues that pple say have a great hit, capone, gilbert, scruggs and etc, but at the end of hte day i keep going back to my predator shaft. even my new weston has a predator shaft just to keep me from possibly getting a new cuel.

i think at the end of hte day. the predator is great for some pple .and shit for others. most importantly to recognize is not that which is better, but that predator and other shafts do play differently form one another.so in that case, it would be logical that pple find them beneficial.

its logically impossible for predaotr to not have some advantage to some pple or else noone would play wioth it..not even the pros who gets some token money to use it.

I don't think that point is valid. If the shaft bends or pushed ASIDE, how does the tip stay in contact longer?
Wouldn't the tip stay in contact longer if the shaft is NOT pushed aside because it stays on the ball longer?
In fact, the reason Predator has lower deflection that conventionaly shafts is because by having a light front end, the tip/ferrule deflects off the cb before the cb deflects of it.
Meucci shafts put a ton of spin on the cb because they buckle way in the back creating a "catapult" effect.
Predator shafts put more spin on the cb simply because the ferrule is soft, therefore the tip stays on contact with the cb longer imo.
