I just posted the flyer on several pool-related groups on Facebook. There seems to be a lot of players on Facebook that I don't see post on here so I thought I would post it there too. I am in several tournament groups on FB and various state pool groups. I will be sending my entry fee in soon. I already booked my hotel room. I know that this will fill up...it always does.:thumbup:

Any update regarding a players' list? I know my entry fee/form should be received tomorrow by Mac. I will give him a call on Saturday to confirm. Looking forward to the event. Always action and a strong, full field.

This is a great tournament. Went to the last one and saw a lot of great pool. The Banks Ring game is a blast to watch on Friday night.

Hi Ray - Will you be streaming any of the tournament? I am already super stoked about playing in this event and watching action. My girlfriend is coming too and she really hasn't seen an event like this that is super stacked. One year I was there and Jeanette Lee was playing "Shreck" from Puerto Rico. I cannot remember the guy's real name. But they were playing sets for $10K. I would not be surprised if she shows up...although I believe that they have started filming She Sharks which she is a part of. Hopefully, they will be there filming. That could be kinda cool. Regardless, there are going to be a lot of the usual suspects with a boatload of money to put in action. I suspect that they may hit a calcutta record for this event. It just seems like there is a lot of excitement and money being put into play lately. I am not sure how I will do since I had surgery on Thursday and still don't have full range of motion on my left knee. I didn't want to give up my spot though. I am getting better every day that goes by so I am hopeful to be able to play well.

This was my third time at the event. I loved it! The tables I thought played well. The use of the Magic Rack was nice and I think it helped to speed up the matches a bit. It was very difficult to NOT make a ball on the break. Although, I did see a few dry breaks out there. I will definitely be trying to be there for the October event as well. I saw a lot of familiar faces including some folks I have not seen in probably 15 years (Troy Johnson) and his road partner. I ran into Troy back in 1999 when I first moved to Milwaukee, WI. I made the mistake of playing him for money on the 9ft GC at Lenny's on 26th and Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He ate me alive. However, he did put me onto a game with another player that came in there and I won back all of the money I lost. He came over later and asked how I liked the game. I told him THANK YOU! LOL. I never did match up with him after that but found out later he was a monster player and only played for money. I don't even think he played in tournaments back then. He now resides in East Chicago, IN. I ran into other players that I used to play against in the St. Louis area and all over the Midwest. I talked to Brian Gregg and he thought that this event had the toughest field he has seen since he has been going to the events. I know it was much stronger than the two events I did go to in 2008 and 2011. I will definitely be back and next time I won't be in choke mode like I was in my second match playing Danny Smith.
