Hi John,

For what it's worth (for comparison purposes), I recently sold my 9' Diamond Pro (2005 model) including the full size Diamond light, wall rack, and a bunch of little extras, for $3500. At that price, it only took a week to complete the sale. Based on feedback, I probably could have sold it for a few hundred more if I had a few weeks to wait. This table needed new cloth, but had good rail rubber, and I was the original owner (and the table was kept in my home). My local market was Austin, TX.

Good luck!

3500

well 1500 doent sound bad but consider that's only a piece of the Cost

the table will need to be set back up and to do that right ,get it playing like you want it

AZ member Real King Cobra who is one of the best Diamond table mechanics in the country could give you the best advice of what the table is worth and what kind of money it would take to set it up right and get it to the maximum playablity you want

I can't recall for sure but did you say in your other thread you have plenty of room for a 9' table? 1500 sounds like a decent price for this table, but I think if you can fit a 9' comfortably to completely ignore the 8' deals.

Also this table will have the red label rails. If sounds like the same tables are at that pool hall. Maybe go there and play on them to make sure you like the rails.

And finally this will most likely be a non-dymondwood table. So it's rail tops might be dented to sh1t coming from a commercial environment.

One plus to a diamond that old is they weren't dying the pockets black then. They were the natural leather color. Those non dyed pockets don't leave any marks on the balls.

I did some measuring and I will only be able to fit an 8' table in the living room hence the reason for the 8' table search.

The table in question is exactly the same as the other 9 or 10 tables at this particular pool hall which is why I know for sure the table will need new cloth and rails.

Thanks for the input guys, keep the responses coming.

Even needing cushions that sounds like a good deal to me. Also you don't need to worry about subrail modifications for new cushions that don't match what was originally on the table as on the early GCs. I do not know if this would be equivalent to a red label Diamond that some people do not care for so they upgrade the rails to the Blue Label specs, but personally I kind of like the way the Red Label Diamond plays.

I have not seen anything near me for under 3K. This would include a search area of Louisville Ky to as far north as Dayton Oh, as far south as Knoxville Tn, you get the idea...lol

Watch Ebay and see if there is a deal that might work for you there.
