I'd like know more about this local player council that puts on the 4 bear tournament in ND each year. It sounds like they do great job. Who are they? Johnnyt

The committee is made up friends and family members of Kelly Demeray. The tournament started as a memorial tournament for Kelly(not sure how Kelly pasted) and the committee has really put their hearts into the tournament and it has grown in leaps and bounds over the years.

If you are looking for a great tournament with some of the best players in the USA, this is the tourney for you. Also, the Calcutta is always around 20k, last year's Calcutta was over that.

Also, you have to go through the committee to get rooms. Their contact info is on all of their fliers.

Great tourney I hear. We are approx 90 miles from the Montana border so lots of players from my city journey down each year. They have nothing but good things to say upon their return. Like any tourney, issues that may have popped up previously get addressed the next year and it just keeps going forward and getting better.

One of these years, I tells ya, one of these years.
