Ok! Here it is, deemed by a local cue expert ( or as close as we have to an expert ) as by far the nicest cue i have made yet. Ivory butt and joint, beautiful tiger maple forearm, 5 ebony points recut with thuya burl points, ( not a veneer ) thuya burl rings with white rings and one silver ring in the middle at a,b,c,d, and e. thuya burl buttsleeve, black irish linen wrap, ( can change that to another color if you prefer ) two shafts both with solid white buckhorn ferrules ( the solid white ones are hard to come by ) and tiger medium tips. cue is 59" 18 1/2 oz with one shaft and 18.9 oz with the other, shafts are 12 mm. Must sell so i am putting it up for auction to end on satuday evening, with a minimum bid of $600.00 shipping included. Cue is also up for sale localy so i reserve the right to end the auction or to add a local bid into the auction. If you buy it and are not completly satisfied with it then ship it back for a full refund.

That is a beautiful cue. I love the contrast between the wood grains, the black and the white accents. It's looks gorgeous. I'm sure you don't need it but good luck on the sale!

Hanshew

I currently have one of James' cues. He is producing some very nice cues as you can tell, but what you can't see is how they hit. The cue I own of his hits better than my Zylr!! It is not hard for me to say that. His other cues all hit great too! I may have to work on getting another one from him if I can't get ahold of this one! You can't go wrong with any of his cues!

nice looking work.are both shafts 12mm?is it your personal playing cue or did you make it like that?

third_i , bryan, and john thankyou so much for the compliments and to answer your question mason the cue was made for someone who wanted a cue with two 12 mm shafts but couldnt make up their mind on exactly what they wanted. so they just said to make them somthing and they would like it. i wanted to be sure it was somthing they liked, so i just made two cues and let them pick the one they liked the best. they picked the other one and so now this one is for sale.........

Someone actually prefer another cue over this gorgeous cue? Then the other cue must be one of a kind cue. Anyway PM sent.

Hmm

Well, if this is the "nicest" cue to date....I don't know what that other person was thinking....maybe he wanted a more plain road warrior instead of this beauty!

actually yes, they did want somthing more plain, said this cue was a little more fancy and flashy than they were looking for.

Wow

That is a great looking cue too! I love the ring work! I'm serious about you building another cue for me. I somehow couldn't get my titlists down for you to convert, but I definitely have some work for you to do plus building a new cue!! Well, unless I get ahold of this one....then I may still have another one....who knows!!

hmm

I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I'm sure if I saw those in person, I would love them. I'll definitely try to make it to Waco even if I'm not playing so that I can see some of the cues you have.

sorry to change the auction, but i am going to extend the bidding to augest the 4rth at 10 pm central, as there is a big tournament in waco that saturday. So let the bidding begin.........at $600.00 for this cue with ebony, thuya burl, and ivory it is a steal!

Great!

Well, in the back of my mind, I was hoping that would happen so I could come see and hit with that cue!! Haha....now you are forcing me to come to Waco aren't you?

haha!

not trying to force you ............... but looking foward to seeing you, last time you gave me the 7 out right?

Haha! I think it should be the other way around....but we could see what we come up with....I'd be up for it! Only if I get to use one of your new cues!
