4 The Meucci haters ;)

To say that I am a Meucci Hater is most likely an understatement. I have owned Meucci and after playing with it three weeks the butt started to crack from the bubbles that were in the cue when I received it and to make things worse Meucci did nothing to help me.

Needless to say I was able to fine a Meucci lover that bought the cue off me at full price even though I told him about the cracks( thanks).

So I came out ok in that situation but that was the last straw. The cue played like Sh%t with all the negative feed back so I wasn't missing anything.

I personally would not buy a Meucci to wipe my dogs A$$. The costumer service is full of Sh%t and the over all quality of the over priced bullsh%t they are pushing to the cult like followers of this sorry A$$ brand isn't worth the time it takes to make the sh%t.

So to end my rant FU#K MEUCCI sideways!!!

Welcome to America, the land of the free and freedom of speech. :D

Meucciman, the quality in his cues have not improved lately. He has untrained women working for him putting those cues together. How good can the quality really be? I know someone that knows Bob Meucci and Darren for over 30 years and he knows exactly what is going on inside Meucci and what you are saying is incorrect about the quality is better now.

That is your opinion, I go to Meucci often and spend a lot of time in the back when not playing pool in the front. Bob staffs no more than 15-20 people from start to finish building cues. Out of the 15 thru 20 there is a total of 2 females working in the back. I have sat for hours, there entire shift at times and they do amazing work. I have seen it first hand, my buddy didn't tell me this.

i think he's saying garth brooks or travis twit don't do it for him

glad Bob (unmatched innovator/designer) lost a few lbs, hope he's around for many more moons

adam<===an old friend

lol I was just wearing a thick plaid shirt, keeping warm, it was a Mississippi winter day ;)

How many pros have won ANY tournaments in the past 20 years using a Meucci? You'd be lucky if you could name one. Regardless of reasons, the cue quality suffered greatly...customer service as well. I'm no hater (my first cue was a Meucci, and I still have it), but Meucci is no longer sought after by any professional players. Last summer Bob supposedly "signed" Buddy Hall to promote Meucci cues, but then never followed up with any marketing (the trade show was a month later, and Meucci didn't even have a booth). Suffice it to say that Bob has a TON of production quality values and customer service problems to overcome, and it will take years to overcome, even with everything being "perfect" (as you describe it) now. It took many years to get as bad as it is...it will take years to make the public believe that anything has changed. Even so, Bob was definitely an innovator, and did build some great cues years ago.

Hmmm and to think that so many pros won so many MAJOR tournaments with a crappy production cue

I think that, any cue quality issues aside, Bob Meucci or his marketing person is a genius. After I read the reply about the pro series cues, I checked the Meucci website. It's clear that he knows his target audience (league masses) and he basically dared the majority of league players (1-5) to buy one, because they couldn't handle it. Just like Huck Finn with whitewashing. Well played, Bob... well played.

Dallas I did not look at it that way, thank you for presenting it like that. I shot with Bob's personal PRO series Meucci and I must say it was as smooth as Tennessee whiskey

Scott,

Currently Bob has been making a Buddy Hall line of cues.

Bob's website is not helping matters. As a lawyer, I cringe at some of the statements he makes about the performance of his cues. Legally this is probably "puffery" and hence not actionable, but it's getting awfully close to the line of false advertising.

It's the cue with a history of performance!

The entire cue is built with one priority in mind: to give every player more power with less effort. Meucci is unquestionably the most accurate tool ever built for the game of pool!

World renowned as the cue that deflects the least of any brand.

An unsurpassed shaft taper which has never been copied effectively by any other manufacturer.

Unique joint and ferrule design allowing maximum performance with minimum effort.

Highest quality woods available from our own saw mill.

Butt splice design increases amplification of stroke while diminishing warpage.

The only cue balanced far enough back for automatic grip hand positioning every time.

Unequaled grain alignment and color in our shafts.

Full year guarantee against manufacturing defects and material flaws.

Unmistakably distinct in design.

The most recognized name in the billiards industry.

Quality of Bobs cues are terrible these days. I own several Meucci Originals and they are in mint condition, but would not buy any of the cues he makes today. He uses cheap material and the quality is not good anymore.

Scott you hit the nail on the head.

The staff was to blame, Bob was trying to slow down and not be at Meucci INC every single day. It looks like he should have been but he was not. That is all I know about that

Bob hired people that couldn't do the job they were hired for. How is he not at fault? They were tuning out junk. He owns the company his name is on the cue he's the one that's pocketing the money. You can suck up to Bob all you want and praise him as a pool cue making god. But I know first hand the kind of garbage they were turning out. And the kind of run a round I got trying to get it replaced. Meucci will never see another cent of my money. As for him trying to slow down. I'm sure once the word got out about the drop in his cues quality and his lack of customer service he got what he wanted.

God Bless and Good Bye!!!

Living of the laurels of yester year.

No quality control of any sort. Absolutely none whatsoever.

I agree 100 percent. His quality is poor today and he is using cheap materials.
