$4000 Billiard University (BU) Exam I 100 Challenge

I did shoot today 6 hours only BU. I did one decent run 85+ something...:embarrassed2:
I start to notice that my stroke starts to take old form what I used to have when I was practicing it a lot.
Great practice but that test rip you to pieces!!
I get so mad to shoot perfect 30 point start 8 times a row and then either fail Draw or Stun drill totally..:angry::angry::grin:
P.s Gotta try one more 6h tomorrow then I am done.
I’m sorry the Exam is being unfriendly, but I’m glad it is giving you some good practice. And I’m impressed with your dedication. I hope tomorrow goes well.

Catch you later,
Dave

Yeah it has been 20 years when I was so obsessed about practice. I am glad challenge ends so I can go back break and run practice :D
Again. This exam really is created by smart, smart people. If I would still be serious player I would dedicate a lot more effort towards this.
I would suggest 3 hours day 5 day period per month. 2 times full test and small (15 mi)rest between.
Then rest 30 min and practice 2 of those drills where is ones weakest score.

P.s I use trick of having wet T-shirt every hour. It keeps me cool enough to keep going :D:p

Actually, when the Exam I Challenge is over, you need to work on Exam II so we can get your scores and videos posted on the AZB BU Sticky thread! :grin-square:

Thank you. The BU Exams are excellent pool workouts, with measured results that can be tracked over time. Even after you "learn" all of the shots, you still need to be able to execute them consistently with full focus.

Good idea; although, the Challenge is not a "wet T-shirt" contest. I might have to censor your next video.

Only 1 day left before the end of the challenge (July 31, 2018)!!!

Here are the current top 5 scores and videos to date, in the $4000 Billiard University (BU) Exam I 100 Challenge:

1.) Lee Cooper - 95 - video ($2000)
2.) Dr. Dave Alciatore - 93 - video ($1000)
3.) Ken Cileli - 91 - video ($500)
4.) Scott Brazier - 91 - video
5.) Poolmanis on AZB - 88 - video

There should be some other AZB'ers out there who can break into the top 3, and I'm sure some of you are capable of taking over 1st place ($2000) with some dedicated and focused practice. Maybe even a perfect score of 100 (for $2500) is possible.

Good luck,
Dave

Today is the final day of the Challenge!!!

Videos for any final entries must be online and view-able by midnight (MST) tonight to be accepted.

Failed it.
I probably made 10-15 times around 85-90.
Really bad luck that weather put extra difficulty level.
Yesterday was hottest ever measured here and even nighttime is around 25 celcius.
So damp. Like in jungle or something.
Anyways. Great practice and i probably never put this much effort for QUALITY PRACTICE.
I probably make that prize money from next season tournament winnings.
I feel this effort made my stroke better. Also movement while shooting is non existent if comparing before BU test marathon week.
Thanks Dave. :)

You're welcome. Thank you for putting in such a solid effort. I'm glad you think the effort was worthwhile. BU Exam practice really helps me make my fundamentals and game more solid.

Catch you later,
Dave

PS: When you feel like it, take a stab at the Doctorate version of Exam II and post your scores and videos on the AZB BU sticky thread so I can add you to the list.

Definetely gonna take that test too after summertime is over and I got one week loose.

I decided to upload one try until draw drill just to reminder to myself(deleted all but this). Also it shows how it went 80% of time
I can go back when my stroke is off and check how it should be.
Couple first shots are not best but after I start warm up I really like what I see.
Especially stop shots! :grin-square:

P.s Added also one cool run out after I finished trying BU tests. I was just enjoying my stroke and having fun with pro ghost! :D
