$4000 Billiard University (BU) Exam I 100 Challenge

There are only 18 days left before the end of the challenge (July 31, 2018).

Here are the current top 3 scores and videos to date, in the $4000 Billiard University (BU) Exam I 100 Challenge:

1.) Lee Cooper - 95 - video ($2000)
2.) Dr. Dave Alciatore - 93 - video ($1000)
3.) Ken Cileli - 91 - video ($500)

There should be some other AZB'ers out there who can break into the top 3, and I'm sure some of you are capable of taking over 1st place ($2000) with some dedicated and focused practice. Maybe even a perfect score of 100 (for $2500) is possible.

Good luck,
Dave

Time is winding down!

There are only 14 days left before the end of the challenge (July 31, 2018).

Damn, I need to FIND some time to get back on my table! As most of you know, summer time and pool seem to clash and the nice weather tends to win (with me). Maybe I'll try a few exams this coming weekend.

I look forward to seeing if you can top your already-awesome score.

Good luck,
Dave

PS: I'm done with the Challenge. My shooting arm is still giving me a lot of trouble and can't handle the stop and draw shots. I need to give it total rest for it to heal. It didn't help that I ran my BU Summer School Boot Camps the last two weekends. I tried to limit how much I shot, but there were certain shots I needed to demo.

I uploaded my 88 test. I did forget to mute background so if video is unavailable tell me so. I then mute whole vid if needed. Also I did have not time to put text and stuff on video. I try adding scores later on description or something.
We have hottest summer here ever so hard to play. with couple fans blowing I managed to couple more tries but paper go flying :p.
I hope I have couple days next week to break this one and make proper video.
Anyways here it goes:smile::

Nice job! You are definitely a threat to take over the top spot, or at least break into the top 3. FYI, I just added your info to the $4000 BU Exam Challenge page.

Good luck,
Dave

After the Challenge, also consider posting a video for Exam II so I can add your scores and videos to the AZB BU Sticky thread.

Catch you later,
Dave

Marc Vidal Claramunt, a pro in Denver, came up yesterday to take a stab at the Challenge on my table. Here's his video:

Marc Vidal Claramunt - BU Exam I - 83

He plans to work hard the next few days to break into the top 3. I'm pretty sure he will.

Enjoy,
Dave

PS: It makes me feel much better about my misses on the ball-pocketing drill (F6) when I see a pro also miss some of the same shots.

Hi. Dave I dunno if I can try anymore because we have bad weather. I live near arctic circle and our winter is long and cold. That is why our buildings are designed to store heat.
Now we had 3 weeks straight 30 celcius and no rain. Even night time is 20-25 celcius because here sun not going really down at all.. Buildings are so hot and our summers have a lot humidity so almost unplayable weather.
I was using big fan to help me but I bumped it accidently and it got destroyed(rotation crushed wings).
Shops have been out of stock fans and air coolers two weeks now. I try go this night do test maybe one more time but it could be too much to do :sorry:.

Scott Brazier just posted a 91. Here's his video. He just needs 1 more point to break into the money. I am confident he will get more than 1 in the next few days.

I did shoot today 6 hours only BU. I did one decent run 85+ something...:embarrassed2:
I start to notice that my stroke starts to take old form what I used to have when I was practicing it a lot.
Great practice but that test rip you to pieces!!
I get so mad to shoot perfect 30 point start 8 times a row and then either fail Draw or Stun drill totally..:angry::angry::grin:
P.s Gotta try one more 6h tomorrow then I am done.
