Well here it is, number 4000. An unofficial milestone, and it's been a lot of fun.
Just so you'll know, it was always my intention to inject a little humor into the forum, either to lighten the mood in a drama filled thread, or to make what I thought was a meaningful point about something under discussion. There were many, many times that I pushed the boundaries of NPR, but in the main I hope that I helped more than I hurt. If I have bruised anyone's feelings, I sincerely apologize.
You folks are great. There are only three people on this forum whom I would not want join me on a deserted island, and they know who they are. The rest of you are welcome at my house, anytime.
So, without further ado, I wish to announce my retirement from AZB. I'm done.
