My best advice is to try them out. I owned many 314-2 shafts and a vantage. I have owned most production cue brands and I loved the vantage. That said, the most important aspect of any shaft IMO is feel and I can't tell you if you will like the feedback as that is very subjective.
You will likely get many replies. Some saying predator sucks, others saying their predator shaft stays under their pillow at night but at the end of the day it will be a matter of how well you like the feedback/hit of the cue that is most important.
I would personally go with the vantage. I love the hit.
