Just checked out the IPT website, and the player roster is up: 45 men and Julie Kelly.

Man, I'd like to see Julie do well. There's a few players from my neck of the woods who made the trek to Georgia, so I'll be pulling for them as well.

Veterans Reed Pierce and C.J. Wiley are going to take a shot at snapping this one off.

Vilmos Foldes was a high finsher at the DCC IPT qualifier, and he's going to be a tough contender.

Shane Van Boeing from South Dakota, North Carolinian Young Guns Keith Bennett and Sparky Ferrel, and Jump Mechanic Danny Green are also going to be giving it their all.

From across the pond, Imrad Majid and Darryl Peach are also ones to watch in this event.

Sally Timko of InsidePOOL will be providing real-time coverage on the IPT website.

This is exciting, and I can't wait to see who makes it to the winner's circle!:)

Rooting for Long shot Charles (Chuck) White

I'm rooting for Neil Fujiwara (works for Predator, good friend of mine) great stroke, great break.

Go Neil!

im surpirsed Jeanette didnt try again, especially since George Breedlove is there.

....and Julie Kelly (forgot there were 2 spots) Julie comes from the same small town in Ireland as my mother and Julie is a great person with great game...

Go Neil & Julie!!

I believe I read that Jeanette had scheduling conflicts that only allowed for her to play in one qualifier (the first one)

Thanks for the input, man that sucks for her and for Trudeau. It would be good for the publicity of the tour to have her on it, and it would be good for her purse to be on it.

Im surprised she didnt get an invite, or maybe she didnt mail it in in time or something.

I think.....

There are a few people in my opinion who have a shot at it. My favorites are Dan Wallace and Louis Ulrich, but they're also my friends, so there's bias involved. I'd watch out for Foldes, heuwagon and breedlove as well.

Shane - you're right about Neil Fujiwara. He came through Orlando a few years ago and torched everyone we threw at him. He played some of the best 9Ball I've ever seen on a real tough Gandy. We still talk about what a solid game he plays. He stays under the radar but can really bring it - I've always thought he would break out like Gabe Owen did. Anyway, I gotta root for Sparky Ferrell - go, Sparky!

That's what she said at the DCC

Glad to hear things are going good. The world needs more dads like you... proud & happy! :)

Are you going to make it to Valley Forge this yr???

In regards to Jeanette Lee -

Lets be honest here... She has no chance of getting in the IPT with the fields being as tough as they are. Her best chance will be winning a $1000 qualifer to get a chance at the qualifying tournament before the next KOH (assuming that is still the plan for the 2007 season) Surely there will be a couple qualifiers with weaker fields. I'm hoping to find the weakest field, out of the hundred, to blow my money on. I assume she will do the same.

I like watching her and all but she only made a name because she was on an exclusionary tour called the WPBA. She is under the short stop level by a couple speeds. There must be 1000's of, unheard of, players all over the planet who could clean up on her all day long.

She REALLY dropped the ball by not applying for the free spots. She would have been a lock. She blew her best chance (by far) at getting in.

Flame insurance - I have a high opinion of her after playing on a table next to her for a couple days (except for the smoking) but I am a pool fan and recognizing top skill supercedes popularity. She is just not there yet. Breedlove should be training her everyday instead of her coach... She sure is good looking, though :)
