It should be possible.
I removed a sonic tip from a Mezz DI shaft with a cutter, just have to cut between ferrule and tip, it will come off for sure.

Without a lathe is almost impossible to put a new phenolic tip.

There is no difference in speed of the Cue Ball on a break shot with phenolic vs leather. Even very soft tips.

I think Dr. Dave did a test on this and the difference between a phenolic and a super soft tip was maybe 0.5%.

Get a Tweeten Facing Tool. Then grind the phenolic tip flat

Then you can use a DP-190 epoxy and put whatever tip you want onto the BK3. Let the epoxy set for 2 days minimum and then shape the tip to whatever crown you want, quarter, nickle, dime and then go at it.

No way a samsara tip on a bk3 is slower than the original fenolic.....congrats on ur choice though man
