48th All Japan 2015 (11-15Nov2015) (10ball) Amagasaki, Japan

Kuo up 9-4 over Alcano now.

It is great to see Kuo back and shooting well again. He is a two time finalist in the world 9-ball Championships and when he is playing a lot and on his game he is one of the premier Taiwanese pros right up there with Wu, the Kos, and the Changs.

He would have been a world 9-bal champion if not for Wu making the insane comeback from down 12-16, Kuo never getting back to the table in that race to 17 after he got to the hill. He got back to the finals of the event in 2010 only to lose to Busty who finally got his world 9-ball championship.

I really hope Shane win whole thing!
He is true Champion and have good manners.
Good for sport to have someone like him. Not trying to put others down..

Volcano staging comeback ala Wu 9-10 with Little Monster on hill
He broke but cannot run out so now safety game:grin:

Awesome kick by Alcano to nail the 5. Even Kuo applauded
Now hill hill and Alcano breaking
Wow wow

Kuo vs. Alcano on hill hill!! Nice shot from Ronato!

He broke okay but got hooked! Probably push coming up.

Little bit shaky shots from Kuo and he has to shoot with bridge 5 ball. He wisely gather himself and ask referee clean cueball to get more time..

Kuo under hit the 2 to leave himself too severe of a cut on the 3, which he made. But wasn't able to recover from the positional error. He's also not tall, so had to use the bridge instead of just reaching over.

But Kuo misses the ball with bridge and Alcano rungs out to get into semifinal v Han Hai Xiang
He should have shot with his other hand :) The Taiwanese shoot better with othe hand then the bridge
Kuo has been impressive with his excellent potting and beautiful CB control but unfortunately fell at that critical shot:grin-square:i

I think that kick is about 30-40% to make for kicker like Alcano. At least. 98% to hit ball. Only way he can miss that kick is because he try hit it thin 2 rails..

But still Alcano really performed late on match!

In hindsight, Alcano played a great tactical pushoit early on sending the 10 to rail so no easy shot on 5
