If anyone recalls the old bumper pool tables the cues that came with them had rubber tips on them very similar to these. Really grabs the cue ball on soft shots. Overall a crappy substitute for a real tip.

aside from the fact that there's no in$entive for innovation here...it really is time a legitimate synthetic was developed.
 
Black-Balled, a legitimate synthetic for steak and hamburger was developed. It's called tofu. Does that work for you? Sometimes the original is better. As long as there are hotdogs, cue tip material will be available.

Manual Labo is not my thing, I hire people who are better at stuff like that, plus I can sit back & supervise with Coffee, and a Cigar. Plus do not need to do back breaking work.:smile:

I do do tofu but not solely.
