I have what was sold to me as a 5.2 ounce block of westinghouse micarta about 6 or so years ago. its dimensions are 5.03" x 1.18" x 1.15". I want to know its appoximate value. Seems like it would made some nice ferrules. Thanks, I will be selling it soon. Thanks, Deacon

I think you could get 8 ferrules there or more if you cut it down to 3/4 each.
Multiply by maybe $75 each.

The amount of ferrules or slabs or whatever you get out of it depend greatly on which way the grain runs associated with the dimensions. Grain runs lengthwise with what dimension and across what dimension?

If you got it 6 years ago I would say it is very unlikely
to be the old yellow so prized by cuemakers and knifemakers.

It's possible, of course, but...
They quit making the good stuff over 20 years ago.
It should be a browmish/yellowish by now. pix would be helpful.
