harold worst was a three cusion champ, I did this with pool only

I always mix up these two guys names. What was the guys name, who Lassiter didn't want any part of, if Worst was a 3 chushion player then I did it again.

Who was the guy, Luther Lassiter didn't want any part of.

Harold Worst was a pool champion in addition to being a 3-cushion world champion. Worst won the 9-ball, straight pool, and all-around titles at Johnston City in 1965.

You don't even have Harold Worst on the list ? I always mix up the guys name

Even Luther Lassiter didn't want to play him.

When I read the list. I was thinking the same thing. No one would take him down easy, and most wouldn't even have a chance...

Surprised there was no Ronnie Allen on the list. Some think he was one of the best one pocket players ever. RIP Ronnie

Maybe I wasn't mistaken!

Sick thing is, the guy on the top of that list, who has as many titles as the next four guys COMBINED is trailing in this list to SVB, Efren, and is almost tied with Bustamante.

Pool playing fans mostly have no clue how dominant some of the old school guys were, they know the name "Mosconi" and that is about it.

I thought Harold Worst Stayed away from tournaments. He just wanted to be the unknown money player. Luther I thought would play anyone but Harold...

thats why i asked the old school guys to join in otherwise it would get one sided

i think overall player wise ill give it to efren.

in 9 ball ill give it to earl or lassiter

in one pocket ronnie allen

straight pool: mosconi

bar table: keith or buddy

snooker: o sullivan

3 cushion: hoppe

its hard to say because of the lack of TV exposure the old school players got. i want to believe the legends, but at the same time im not well versed in the old school players accolades. so far as ive seen these are my opinions.

Mika is a class act. He hit some balls with my son at Valley Forge and showed a genuine interest in the total success of pool. It wasn't a publicity stunt. He has the best stroke I have ever seen. "player of the decade". I hope he shines again soon!
