The Billiard Center in cape girardeau mo is hosting the 2nd Bootheal clasic.
Feb 26,27,28

This is a 5000.00 added race to your handicap tournament.
double elimation
$50.00 entry fee (played on 16 vally tables)

mini tournament on friday night signal elmation ( start at 7 )

Saturday morning calcuta starts at noon(last year had over 20k in calcuta)
play will begin after.

Tourney will be ran be Danny and Evlin Deysert
contact them for handicaping and earley sign up at (1-316-371-5805)

You can contact the Billiard Center at 1-573-335-9955 ask for Brendon or Amanda.

Hope to see everybody there last year had over 160 entrys

I have played in tournaments at the Billiards Center. Never have cashed but beat Amanda and got moved up?

What is the range of handicaps?

Can you take a jpeg of the handicap chart you will use for the spots?

Can you provide a list of the top 4 for last years event and their handicaps?

Thanks Mark for the intrest I dont have the answers for all your questions.

But evelyn and danny will be doing all the handicaping you can contact them at 1-316-371-5805.

I know Devon Maze won it last year as a 10 and i think chuck raulston got 2nd as a 13 but im not posative evelyn will have all your answers.

I will give Evelyn a call when the event gets closer.

I did not know whether you were going to use the usual handicaps that you do for the monthly events, you know 7/8 and the break, and so on and so forth.

Everyone will play even with a race to their handicap.:eek:

Even though I favor the race to 9 winner break format for it's ease of selecting a winner. This event will definitely PAY OUT to those that can predict the winner in this handicapped event.

As the event gets closer, it becomes harder to decide.

To go North or South? Closer to home or further away?

It might come down to a coin toss next Friday night at the Cue during happy hour.:eek::eek::eek:

If I am a "B" at Westwood, what will I go to in this event? Missed you last Sunday, was the smallest Monthly that I have ever been to. I got destroyed by a C+ than ran out... lol

This great tourney is coming up soon hope to see everybody there. Should be pleanty of action and a getat calcuta.

I understand that you don't rate the players, but can you tell me if i will have to be higher ranked there than in Poplar Bluff? I don't want to drive up there and spend a bunch of money with no shot to win

The entry fee is cheap, call Evelyn and she will give you your handicap.

If your handicap is too high, buy someone who you think has the NUTS.

After the tourney feel free to brag. Cause I am sending a couple guys down there who do not care what their handicap is and think they can win, no matter what Evelyn makes them.

The last event, Evelyn rescinded to the local handicaps and just stepped aside and let the locals tell her who was what, what indication is that will be different this year.??? JUST CURIOUS

Last year there were 160 players?

The 5000 added is based on 128 players so, if you get an extra 32 players will it be a 6250 added event? Just curious.;)
