52nd All Japan Championship (10 ball) (20-24Nov) Winner~$16K

So what match do you think they will live stream next (semifinals start in approximately 2 hours at 11 pm US EST)?

pt -- you may be in luck. It could be a Chen/Chen match in the women's semifinals.

Edit -- Chen played Chen in the quarterfinals. Chen just won, and now Chen will play Chen in the semis.

So we are now in the semi finals and the 4 remaining players are:

Anton Raga (Phil) vs Zheng Xiao (China)

Dang Jin Hu (China) vs Lo Li Wen (is is TPE or Japan)

Is Lo Li Wen from TPE or Japan. The flag beside his name is TPE but I can see JPBA beside it.

Anyway Mika Immonen has been eliminated by Zheng 11-2 and Raga continues his winning streak against Hu Kun Lin of TPE.

The 3 Kos brothers, 2 Changs and 2 Wus are all out.

I hope we see Raga next on the tv table at 11 pm US EST tonight, but we will probably see the Lo Li Wen match.

I'll tell you how important this match and tournament is for Raga. To win here is the best way for him to get a visa to come to America! To win a major tournament in Asia smooths the way for getting that all important visa. Without a win in an event like this it's almost impossible, unless you come from a wealthy family.

Zheng made a great long jump shot and then shot a very difficult eight ball like it was a hanger! These guys play too good! :)

I was just going to ask if winning this tournament would make it easier for Raga to get a visa to come to the US.

Zheng makes a mental blunder trying to go all the way around the table for shape on the four (he could have gone one rail easily). He gets way out of line on the five because of it. No matter, he runs out anyway. Damn!

Raga hangs up a straight in seven ball. For a minute there it looked like these new Crowns play as tough as a Diamond. 5-3 Zheng.

6-3 Zheng. As much as I like the Pinoy players, I have to say that China and Taiwan are turning out more polished players. They all look like champions now and not champions in the making.
That missed seven ball by Raga is looking very costly.

7-4 now Zheng. Just when I thought this guy was invincible, he over ran position from the seven to the eight and lost a game.
