Oh yeah one more thing. In the course of shaking down the Trailer Park Boys, they found a Cadillac key on one of them. They got all excited. Until they found that they fit the other piece of shit white Cadillac..... with no steering wheel. Can't make this stuff upHeh heh, you just reminding me of the night I was arrested for reckless driving. When I was walking!
The long story:
Tri Cities WA. My wife and I were playing pool league on a work night. I had a couple of beers and we had a disagreement. Since home was a mile away just over the bridge from Kennewick to Pasco, I decided to walk home. I didn't want to listen to it on the drive home. Walking down Kennewick Ave, as I approach the Pick a Pop a police car pulled in and two officers got out and put their backs to the wall and peered around the corner to the entrance. There was just one customer in the store and at the register. I stopped just before the drive entry to the lot. Didn't want to be collateral damage. The customer paid and left and the two officers entered the store. I figured ok all clear and started walking. My wife zoomed into that lot, jumped out leaving the car running she heads for the bar across the street and over her shoulder says, "it's your car you take it." I am half way home and figured she was bluffing so just kept walking. A co-worker lived in the RV park next to the bridge so I figured to stop and say hi. Just outside his door is his neighbor that I only know remotely, apparently walking his dog. I stop and say hi. Now another police car driving through the park stops. Two officers get out and say, " you you over here. I am uh, " you mean me?" Yes. So I am with one officer and the other is with Scott on the other side of the car. In speaking with my officer I have given him my license and told him what I was doing. In the course of running my ID the other two have let him know that my car is running in the lot with them. So I gave him the whole story and am aware that I could get a citation for leaving the car running.
Just when he is starting to believe me, the Keystone cops starts to unfold. By this time the whole shift of Kennewick cops are all over the park. This absolutely could have been an episode from the series Trailer Park Boys. So now the Captain walks up to me where my "good cop" has seated me on the curb. He stands in front and over me in the same position of taking a piss. He asked me, " ok where were you in the Cadillac?" I reply, " I don't know nothing about your Cadillac. I have told the officer my story and I will just sit here until you sort this out." Now the officer that had been talking to Scott comes over, stands me up and pronounced, " I am placing you under arrest for reckless driving". As he put the handcuffs on.
After untold wondering if I was going to miss work and great milling and huddled cops. I was uncuffed. Now my cop with my ID gives it back and suggest I go secure my car. I say secure it hell I will drive it home. He says, " I don't think you can drive." To which I replied, " well give me a breathalyzer then." He says, " oh no I can't tell you that you are ok to drive." So I say, " ok, I will go secure the car. I walked the 200 yards back to the car and see the two Pick Pop cops by my car with my wife. And God knows what she is telling them. As I approach the one says, "What's your story?" I know they spoke to my good cop on the radio pre-release. So I said, "my story is, I have been caught and released and am good to go." When he hesitated I just opened the door and and said, " come on honey let's go." We both got in and drove home.
The rest of the story is:
Kennewick was running a drug bust in the park. The druggies had a look out that called in a burglary at the Pick Pop, for distraction. At the same time the white piece of shit Cadillac with Scott's dog hanging out the window came barreling through the operation and around the park. Going fast enough that they couldn't see the driver or even any occupants. Pretty sure they had a good I D on the dog as he was hanging out the window and giving them hell. By the time Keystone got to it it was vacant and Scott was innocently walking his dog 3 units away.
Etiquettes:That's pretty much all that needs to be said. Other than, I'm a nice person. And the bartender at 15th street bar and grill called the police on me. I don't know why. For being too drunk I guess.
Oops, sorry for the misunderstanding. I had no intention of implying your situation was justified. Or the bartender in your case was justified or even competent. I was doing the Grampa On A Tangent thing. But you're insinuating that the workers there were very good at their jobs. I don't think they were.
I'm completely embarrassed and ashamed, obviously, but I'm also mad. I did nothing wrong. I still want to hear what I did wrong.
I do find it shocking that they felt I was such a threat they wanted to call the police.
I wasn't there and can't tell you what happened (and anything is possible), but I can tell you what is by far most likely. You got way out of line in one way or another, possibly coming across as a threat, almost certainly being a major douche that wasn't worth the headache, to the point that you staying on premises at that moment was no longer even an option for them, and you were just too drunk to realize how you were behaving at the time and so of course you are still unaware of it now.Other than, I'm a nice person. And the bartender at 15th street bar and grill called the police on me. I don't know why. For being too drunk I guess.

You are going for a Permaban? They won't respond to my calls or text messages.
Yep. I saw a sign "the customer is always right but the bartender decides who is still a customer." Protesting the bartenders asking you to leave will get you nowhere. If they cut you off, don't complain and don't drive. If they say no, accept it and leave.
I'm sure most of us here can help. You must come clean and let us know...what you did?Obviously, are you kidding me? They asked me to leave, I left immediately. I just want to know what I did.
That makes sense. Its not likely they knew who you are and what you are capable of. Most bars never have to deal with experienced drinkers. This will probably get resolved once you show them.Honestly, I think the bartender was new and not used to an experienced drinker such as myself. She over reacted.
That's the wrong approach. You need to go back down there, but wait until you are stumbling drunk and slurring your speech before you do. They need to be willing to accept you as you are not as they want you to be. Make sure you drive, you don't want to have to walk or wait for a ride whenever you are ready to leave. Walk in and loudly proclaim to the bar staff "I'm back b!tches, now hurry up and serve me a damn beer before I have to bust some skulls, chop chop". Make sure you snap your fingers as you say it. They are going to respect that you were willing to come down and stand up to them, and feeling guilty over how they mistreated you last time they are going to end up welcoming you back with open arms and serve you your first beer as fast as they can with their tails tucked between their legs. Everything from the prior incident will be forgotten as if it never happened and all will be smoothed over and you will end up having a great time all evening. When driving home, lay on the horn non-stop the whole way home in celebration of your victory, you deserve it.I won't be back until they apologize to me.
Yeah, going for a perma ban. What did I do? Thats what I want them to answer. What did I do?
More is better, if you raise that tip to 100%Several people here have told me I didn't tip enough. To be clear, I always tip 20%. Should I be tipping more?
