Cue specs are as follows:

Rings: Amboyna band with 2 sterling silver rings with 6 inlaid mini Ivory diamonds corresponding to each point at A, B and above butt cap.
Butt cap & Joint Collar: Metallic PVC
Joint Pin: 5/16x14, stainless steel, flat-faced

Accumulated less than 10 hours of play on one shaft, the other shaft is brand new. The cue has been sitting at home for the past 2 months beginning last week of April.

PS: Could someone kindly help me on something? I always seem to forget which ring positions do C D and E represent. I even forget A and B sometimes. Thanks in advance.

miranda cue

you said the wraps is irish linen (brown w/ white specks) but your forearm pic's show is a black leather, looks like lizard wraps or alligator leathers. & your buttsleeve is a brown irish linen wraps. I wonder, if that the cue you selling ? cause the first 2 pic's doesn't match the buttsleeve pic. I mean the wraps area. i was kind of interest in it until i read your spec's & notice the wraps is different. would you like to clear that out for everyone in here.

thanks
Wawacue

He probably had the wrap replaced like I did on my Miranda...that are beautiful cue and they play amazing... .the only thing you need to change is the shaft. If you get quality shaft...these are 5-6 thousand dollar cue. I have a south west style amboyna burl warpless cue coming to me from Miranda Team, it's going to be another amazing cue.

check out pics of my miranda:

Duc.

but if he had the wrap replaced... he didnt mention it.. you would think that would be a key feature of the cue you would want to mention...

Well sorry for the confusion right there.

Wawacue: Indeed the wrap was replaced to Irish Linen cause the lizard leather was too slippery for my liking, as I have sweaty palms. The first 2 pictures were taken before the wrap change.

cuedoctor: I know I do have this sale against me cause I've no references whatsoever.

I don't like PayPal cause it requires a credit card which I don't have one, and it'll take weeks for the credit card to be approved for use cause I have to activate it to send more than 250USD. I've used it before and don't want to go through that anymore and make other people upset.

Personally, I'd wire to other people so of course I'd request that people do the same, but the one thing that's not available at the moment is of course references.

I joined in March only because I wasn't that hyped up about custom cues then. I was happy with the production Lucasi I had and one day, through Scorpion's influence, I thought that I should start up a collection and it was only recently that that happened, hence the late start. My knowledge about cues were a minimum, therefore I didn't post much. I'm very much willing to learn about the trade as well.

Cuemaster98: Haha, those cues....But please have the courtesy of not hijacking this thread.

I have personally tried the cue and it is in a excellent condition. Wrap had been changed to linen when i tried, solid hit but too light for my liking. Good luck with the sales.

aside from the shafts being no good... theres no problems with the butts warping or anything?

well lets see it is a cue made by one of the two brothers that seperated back in the day!! Joel is the shady guys name!! he has makers making this for the MIRANDA "COMPANY". I think they will not warp right away but they will eventually go. I have seen these cues in person and without a doubt they are beautiful, but the aging of the wood is the only issue!!

Me I would rather pick up a Dp over one of these!!

As for the name "Joel", I've never heard of it in my dealings with "Miranda" itself or rather, Jonathan.

As for the woods, I'm not really sure on the types of woods that warp when in different climates, but I do have a rough idea of which woods do exist only in the asian region. They're just too many of them so I'd rather someone tell me =D.

Shafts and butts, comment as you guys would. I have no clue whatsoever on the warping cause the climate here is pretty warm all year round.

Regards
