Were the new shafts made by Murray? Does the Natural phelonic match in color?

Yes,
All shafts were made by Murray. The two new ones are a little lighter in the brown phenolic collars. They will darken over time to match perfectly.
Thanks

I installed the new wrap and made the 12.75mm shafts in March or April last year. I re used the rings off the old shafts. Unfortunatly my sealer had gone bad or something because it yellowed really badly. I did not have time to fix it and did not want to make the customer wait any longer on the cue so I sent it with the promise of making two more shafts. The 13mm shafts were made a couple of months later.

I've seen other pictues of this cue that bring out the color and craftsmanship much better. Greg, assuming you still haven't sold it, I'd link to the other pics. If I hadn't just received another Tucker in the mail today I would be talking with you.

I am a huge fan of Murray's cues, and here's why: Fit and finish on his cues is amazing. The woods and other materials he uses are top-notch, no skimping or cutting corners. His customer service is absolutely first rate. And the best part of all...consistently amazing players!

For those of us who know, or are lucky enough to own, one of Murray's cues...he's one of those best kept 'secrets'. :) I can only assume that the reason this cue has not moved is possibly two-fold. Disposable income is not what it once was, and many members here are just 'too new' and are completely unwaware of Tucker Custom Cues and their reputation as superb playing cues.

While I have not done a comparison...from another Tucker owner, who has done side-by-side comparisons...Tuckers play very much like Barnhardt's, SugarTree's, and Zylr's.

Those points look awfully short, like just past half way up the forearm for the "long" points. Is this the customary Tucker point length?

That is an optical illusion caused by the angle that the image was taken. If you will notice in the picture, the shaft joint is larger than the wrap area A-joint.
