Yeah, that's some kind of stroke Max executed to catch the back of the pack two rails.
For the amateurs among us who can't deliver a stroke like that one, it's worth noting that the pack could have also been opened by banking that ball into the side pocket and controlling the multi-rail cue ball path.

I thought he might have used the side pocket cut - or the cross bank- he did really well with the corner ball. but looking closely the power of the shot through the 1 ball back. I watched the whole thing through and when it came up to his decision of the the break ball at the end I actually knew what he was up to. I had a clever (sadistic) one-pocket mentor a long time ago. The old buzzard had more breaks than republican senators son.
