65535 unread messages???

Anybody elses inbox reading screwed up? Mine says that I have 65535 unread messages, but when I open it there aren't any. Any ideas?

It is a forum software quirk. It could happen to any member from time to time. I think mine had a huge amount like that a long time ago, and I have read other threads in the past where people have experienced the exact same thing. :o

Give it a day or two, and it will go away and return to normal unread message count. :)

Maybe you've got a wierd girl stalking you....a bit like those 40+ phone calls a night Princess Diana used to make to the home of a married guy she had a fling with, only to hang up every time immediately anyone answered:p

THAT IS CRAZINESS. There is a guy on this board who is pretty well known and someone got hold of his number and started pranking him. Only thing is this guy had some special software that could read even blocked numbers and the guy was found out immediately and i imagine scared sh$tless. He wasnt a teenage kid either.

My message box seems ok but your problem seems a software quirk, as said before, since 65535 is the highest number that can fit in 16bit (2^16 -1) which is certainly suspicious of a software malfunction rather than just a casual high value.

Delete a couple of PM's and it will go back to normal.
