When you've mastered a 9' or better pool table, and for whatever 10' or larger tables are for snooker/golf, you'll quickly realize that playing on something smaller is much eaiser. If those are worried about ball clogging, then I guess the challenge is what pool is all about. I've learned that the smaller the table you learn more about fine tuning shape, and the larger the table you learn more about aiming and pocketing the balls. So to be diverse is key, as with anything.. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. The next topic would be, which large table game, or small table game would create bad habits for other games? All experienced players would agree out of all the billiard games out there, on any sized table, a huge chain of learning events occur to obtain the next level.
