70's Ronnie v/s 2days Efren???

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't there a ton of players willing to take on Ronnie with a spot of a ball or two? Didn't he always have action?

How many players today are lining up to take on Efren with just a one ball spot?

I think they had to make sure that Efren doesn't bring his A game at that particular moment.

Nobody, including RA in his prime, would "smoke" Efren playing 1P. He might have given Efren all he wanted, or possibly beat him on occasion, but to say he would "smoke" him is one of the most asinine statements I have ever read on this forum.

I asked Little Al Romero about this matchup a few months ago.
Al has played both players in their prime.
Al used to get 8-7 from RA.
