July 26th in Casey ILL there will be a $75 bar table 9 ball tournament with a $10 green fee. This tournament will be 100% payback and starts at 12:00 PM ILL time. The calcutta will be at 10:00. Its double elimination race to 5 with the semi finals and finals being a race to 7. They usually have a real good calcutta at their tournaments. First place will pay $1700 based on a full field. There will also be a $5 break contest and plenty of food. Texas express rules with masse' and jump shots allowed. Any question feel free to pm me. Anyone from Wisconsin going? It's about 5 hours south of Milwaukee, or $5000 in gas.

Anyone want to carpool?
 
I have talked to several people on here from Indiana Illinois and Missouri that say they will make it.
 
Im going to bring a few from Cincy

Got a few guys I am talking to here and while I will definately be going I am finding out on the others.

Tournament is going to take two days if 64 players show up, because they have a town ordinance and all must be out of the bar by midnight. They will have 8 tables, so, be prepared for a long day.
 
tournament has about 15 people signed up already i heard (as of a couple days ago). if this turns out to be good it will be held every year.

I left when I got put out. One out of the money, as they say.

Good tournament, it was worth the drive, and that's sayin a lot with gas prices.

Old school player Mike Minor from Columbus, Indiana won. 1800 total for first. They are planning on having these once a month. Nice paycheck for a race to 5 tournament!
 
Yes it was a good turnout for the first one. Thanks to all who showed up and I think this will get better as it goes on. Also thanks to Mike Durbin from Durbin cues for coming over and bringing some of his work.
