Okay, here are the pics.

Two shafts: 1 NICE 13'ish, straight shaft. Tight grain. 2. Two inches longer, Slight taper roll, tip doesn't leave the table. Full shaft.

Butt and shafts weigh around 20 oz. With either. I'm guessing, no scale. I'll be close.

Some stress cracks in the chess buttsleeve. Pics show them. Two or three hairline cracks in the joint sleeve. Joint is fine, the cracks aren't separated. But, I had to mention them.

There are a few bumps on the forearm, nothing through the finish.
Cue plays great and solid with no rattles. Good Old playing cue. I'd definitely have no problem using it as an everyday player.

Case is what I'd consider really nice to be 30+ years old. It has the rubber around all the angles.

Cue is for sale with case at $675 or best offer. Might separate case. I feel it's worth a buck. Thanks guys.

Looks like rubber bumper has been replaced too, is that true? Has cue been refinished?

I don't think so. Because the guy I got it from said he was the second owner and he didn't. There are a few small surface bumps on the forearm (not visible) that you can feel. I just don't know about the bumper.

I used to sell the original Meuccis & Hubbarts when I ran a room in Cleveland,Ohio. These vintage Originals are not to be compared to current Meucci efforts. I played with an MO1 for years & wish I had it back. You didn't see too many MO8 models. Looks like a nice unrestored example.& would make a great player or collectable. Unsolicited testamonial for the "Fish".

Why, thanks Tim. I've only seen like two? of these. By the way, nice pic of you "staying down on the shot."

Cue is beautiful, I might have to rob it, cuz I aint payin nothin son...what what! JK classic cue at a super cheap price.

Cue is solid

I hit a few balls with this stick when Crawfish came in with it. It's solid, but I"ve been around pool for 30 years and had never seen one! This stick is for a collector. The red/white/blue indicates it may have been made for the 76' bicentennial. If you have a chance to get a Meucci Orginal and one very few people have seen you need to get this one. I love the case, it even locks.

Anyone know how to add a picture from your desktop to the reply? I'm not very compooter littttterut.

Not sure about it being a "bicentenniel" version, but it certainly is a first catalog version:

That's what made me think the bumper was replaced.

Very nice cue!

Thanks Jim. Good info. May have been replaced. I've had some close offers, so maybe we have action on this one. Rep to you if it'll let me. Thanks for posting that.

rare cue

Well it's not called a BICENTENNIAL but the red white and blue look good for about the time it was made. But this baby is rare, rare, rare! Gonna look nice in somebody's collection. But it shan't be stolen. rw

Can't just give it away. I had two guys last night offer 1/3 of nothing for it. Oh well.

Looks like I'm "Bay"ing it. I may get Randy to post it for me. If you want to offer on this before tonight, call me.
