8 and Out

I've made a ball on the break and ran 8 and out maybe once. Off the other guy's break, a few 8s and some 7s. Once after the break, I ran 11 and out. Most I've ever run in One Pocket.

i hope this does not come off as bragging but it reminded me of something i was messing around with a couple of years ago.i was playing 14.1 and accidentally figured out a way to make one on the break in one pocket like half the time.the table had brand new cloth big pockets and polished balls but still i could not believe what i was doing.the balls had to be racked tight but i called bob hunter and said bob if efren would give me the break on this table i would win and he said what are talking about.so i sent a video to him and showed him.if i remember correctly i broke the balls 21 times and made a ball with a shot and without selling out like 14 times.also of that 14 i made seven in a row thats without selling out to the other hole mind you. anyway using that break i managed to break and run 15,15 and14 back to back to back.my best breaking and taking ball in hand is 15,15,15,15,14 and i had some people see that.corey deul showed me how to break them and it worked great. ive tried to use that break on other tables and have had trouble but with new cloth and the balls tapped in im sure they would break perfect again.later guys john schmidt.

Of course Corey Deuel knew how to break them :p

PS: Can you send me that video, I would like to break like that :D :D :D

i stopped at 8 and racked up 9 ball after i yelled at him i just went 8 and out. i guess i should have kept going to see how far i could go. I thought i needed one more so i was planning on running out 9 but i counted up one more time and the ball i was straight in on was 8 and i let him know it haha. next time i get the chance i'll try and run more.

Something similar happened to me here in San Antonio about three years ago. I didn;t make a ball nearly that often but several times in one match.

T^he funny thing is the next night on the same table I played this guy from Arkansas a race to 9, 9-ball, and made it on the break like 5 or 6 times. What was so funny is that I havent made it 5-6 times in the last 10 years. There was something about the new balls and new cloth though.

Height Flip Side.

Though it -->is<-- nice to comfortably reach long shots on a 9'er, try whacking your skull on a table light a few dozen times when standing up from a long shot and your desires for height may diminish!

Worse for me - I am 6' 3" and I have a cast iron sewer pipe in a finished basement workshop that is at 6' 2". Knocked myself out once carrying a computer monitor and not paying attention.

Height hurts! :o

Nice work on the 1p run out!
