After the break, what to do?

Shoot the 12 and leave the cueball below the 5 for a shot on the 13 or 15 in the side. Then leave the cueball between where the 13 and 15 are to shoot the 10 and go for the breakout of the 2, 14 and 11. It's a little risky but if the 14 doesn't end up on the rail behind the 5 you should get out.

12 in the right corner
13 in the right side
10 in the right corner leaving the CB inline for 11-14 combo in the left side
Depending on where the 11 ends up either 11 in the left side or 15 in the right side
9 in the right head corner
8 in the left foot corner

I don't see this as a run out rack. 6 in the corner, low right to come back for 3 or 7 in side. 5 in corner stop shot. 4 ball one rail to leave it near other corner pocket, freeze CB to 12 ball for safe.

The key shot is breaking out the 14 with the 11. The 11 has a hole so it is a matter of getting on that shot. You could try to combo the 15-10 right away and you are there. Another option is 12, 13, 10 to get there. I like the combo, its pretty easy from the starting position, and minimal cue ball movement.

If playing safe is the plan, I don't like shooting off my ducks while that 2 ball is still in trouble. I'd shoot in the 6 to establish solids, then play safe by hitting the 7 up table (to become a helper later) and freeze the CB behind the 3.

Not playing safe. Trying to get out. Looking at it a second time if the 13 goes by the 5 then I would do English's pattern.

Here is how I see it.

13 lft. corner with stop draw
Cut 10 in rt. corner
11 is pocketed in the lft. corner
14 in the side
12 in rt. corner
15 rt. side
9 in the corner with a little draw for position on the 8 in lft. corner.

• Stripes definitely, because they all go...
the 2 doesn't go anywhere and the 1 basically doesn't. 3-7 require short side position.

• 14 doesn't go yet, but there are multiple solutions.
A stop shot on the 13 gives you a natural angle on the 10 to run into the cluster.
I'd try to hit the 2 in the face softly but the high side of the 11 is fine.
15, 12, 9 all are insurance balls.

• Plan B might be draw a few inches after the 13, gently roll in the 10, trying to put the CB where the 10 is now. Depending on equipment and exact layout, it may not be possible to hold it there. But if you do, you could shoot the 2 and roll into the cluster.

You could even play a picture-perfect out where you don't bump any balls...
stun up for the 15, try to get CB where 15 is now,
11 in the corners, stop/stun a little downhill, and 14 goes in the side.

I'm taking stripes and it appears as the angle is good to break out the 2, 14, 11, and 8 cluster. So I would go 13, 10, 12, 14, 15, 11, and the 8 in the corner. This is assuming I have the angle on the 13 to separate the cluster. Also assuming the 11 doesn't pass the 8 into the corner. If it clears I'm going 13, 10, 11, 14, 12, 9, 15, and the 8 in the corner.

13 first and then the 10 with intent to break the cluster. Should have a shot due to so many available insurance balls.
