I'm on your side, but it just seems once again your fighting every step of the way to not get this taken care of. No need to risk your credibility on this one deal. No need to post about your pictures of the box and dvds . A signature,,,,,come on. Sumtin4u is doing you a solid, now he has to give you a signature. Let it go already!

Have you considered having JAMES DNA tested, finger-printed, and a background check ran to receive these DVD's? As risky as it sounds to hand over these illegal DVD's that you've had for months, you might even force JAMES to provide a stool sample to make sure he doesn't have some rare disease that might influence his ability to ship these stolen pool videos back to PUMPKIN.

Actually, now that I think about it, you may need to ask JAMES to have a surgeon implant a global tracking device whereas you can track his every move until he drops the stolen DVD's off at the post office. Further, you might even want to submit a request to the White House (cite the Freedom of Information Act) and make sure JAMES really is who he says he is and not just some Nazi operative seeking out innocent stolen DVD-holders in an effort to copy them to provide to sick and starving Ethiopian children. I hear they are in high demand - right up there with a hamburger.

Good luck with this transaction with JAMES, but heed my advice - you can never be too safe.

I can see where the OP is coming from on this stolen DVD caper.
It would be hard for me to sleep at night knowing that my stolen (but insured for $200) DVDs are in transit unsecured.
Jim should of offered to hand carry the DVDs back to Pumpkinhead.
I'm sure that Jim would still have to provide a witnessed signature and personal insurance information before ADA releases the stolen DVDs to him, but it's good to see acedonkyace doing everything possible to make this a smooth & easy transition.

So why not just ship them back insured the way Pumpkin had asked him to do? He even said he would pre-pay return shipping. I don't necessarily agree that this has been a smooth & easy transition. Seems like this has been going on for MONTHS.

It has. Donkey has been dodging and weaving for as long as he could. Thread after thread of excuses and crap. I can't understand how dense a person can be. I'm hoping he actually follows through with this.

I got a PM from James stating he met with donkey but said he couldn't find them as of yet. He will try to find them over the weekend. Another excuse if you ask me.

From what I heard they met but donkey didn't have the DVDs. He says he's going to look for them. That was last Saturday.

Jim, Great effort on your part...green rep to you. I don't have a particularly good feeling that everything will work out, however, but I hope it does.

FWIW, I have done great deals with Mike in the past, and I just never could understand how this could happen and become an issue as it has.

"The DVDs are still sealed in the small USPS flat rate box that you shipped it to me in. I will be happy to meet with JIM and I will confirm that the DVDs are in the box, I will take the DVDs out of the box, spread them out onto the Pool Table and Take pictures of all the DVDs and then I will get a signed acceptance sheet from JIM that he is taking possession of the DVDs, the number of DVDs and from there all responsibility is between JIM and Pumokinhead."

Mike, just send the crap back and be done with it...jeez!! Now, give it to Jim and get it over. All this crap about "documenting" everything...you said it was still sealed in the package...just give it to Jim and we can all move on. One crappy transaction does not have to kill every other one.

I sent Mike a PM to see if he has had any luck finding the dvds. IMHO after meeting Mike I think he is a good guy who is just trying to protect himself. I will continue to work with Mike and try to fix this issue.

I am still looking for the box that has the DVD in it.

This all started almost a year ago and I have moved my Billiards Pro-Shop two times since then and I now have my shop supplies in a 400 sq ft storage unit and it is very difficult to goes through items stored this way.

Some might not know but I dont have a right hip or pelvis and I have to get around now on crutches or a crutch and I cant lift things, so, I spent 2 hours looking before I met with Jim, and I looked one other time for about 1 hour, but I still have not found the box of DVDs,

100%, they are in the unit, but there are thousands of individual items I have to go through and it it very diffficult and takes time,

I will find them, when I do, I will contact Jim and we will meet and I will turn them over to him,

But, I am not going to injure myself over this,

Thanks to Jim for getting involved and I explained the situation to him, so he knows the issues involved and is still willing to take it upon himself to help the situation,

I just wanted to let everyone know I am and have never ducked anyone and I feel I have tried to deal with many Azers on this sight with respect and integrity,

This will get solved, it just make take a while, since I have already been beat up and my rep turned red over this situation, even though I have had positive transaction with over 100 people, it is amazing that my rep is bad over this situation, but, it is what it is,

I will be in contact with Jim when I find the box of DVDs

Huge appreciation to Jim for trying to get this resolved. I understand if it might be difficult to get around to find these but why not get some help? There has to be younger gentlemen around there to help with locating the box? I can't understand dragging this out even longer.
