Has anyone else found that with the Delta 13 elite rack it is hard to freeze all balls in a 9 ball rack. I have new cloth, new Aramith Super Pro balls but I can not keep all the balls frozen all the time. My magic rack is much better for 9 ball. Any opinions?

The Delta 13 is like a quality hammer. You still need to know what to do. It still amazes me how many players don't know how to find the correct spot for the one ball and then watch it roll away once they lift the rack.
Comparing a magic rack to any conventional rack is like comparing a hand saw to a rotary electric version. Not the same animal.

I like the Delta. I have no issues with racking 9 ball with it at all.
I have a magic rack. I don't generally use it. Nothing against it. It's fine. I just prefer a traditional rack and the Delta is superb IMHO.
My local pool hall has the Delta racks at the tables. Oh, and they just re-covered the tables. Really nice.

I do know what to do with it, racking wise, and I do know where the one ball goes. The one ball is not the issue - it's the next two that I cannot keep frozen. And, no I do not play one pocket or 14.1 with any rack as I am a horrible banker. But, thanks for your input and I'll keep working on it.
Here is a quick suggestion (not the complete answer).
1. Place One Ball on spot.
2. Bring rack into place and just barely rest up against the one.
3. Put balance of balls into their places
4. Ensure rack is not twisted (I would recommend a line down the middle if it's your own table)
5. Lightly tap in the balls to train the table.
6. Move rack forward and up.
7. Repeat as required and from here you should be good.
On a well trained table you should almost be able to hand rack effectively.

you say the cloth and balls are new -- how new? weeks? months? in any case, how clean are the balls? it makes no sense to me in terms of physics, but it is absolutely true from long experience that the cleaner the balls are, the tighter they rack -- and it is Not subtle, it's a huge difference. after i made my ball cleaner 2 years ago, it became even more evident. having the table Wicked clean also helps a lot.
Both balls and cloth are two or three weeks old. I clean the table after every session and the balls every two days. Of course, I do not have a ball cleaner but use the Aramith solution to clean them. Thank you for your input.
And do you have a spot on the table?
Yes, but I just removed it. And cleaned the table and cleaned the balls, although I did both last night and, guess what? Problem solved. Must have been the spot!!!!!
Lol, not a magic rack fan huh? Pretty clear not to use a MR for either of those games.
I got a MR about a month ago. Haven't seen a mud rack yet out of it.
Seems 99% of the pro events I watch use a MR, wonder why? Is that a sponsorship thing or do they just like the hand saw approach?
I ordered a Delta rack at the request of one of my regular's wife's, who was looking for a nice pool related gift for him, for his home table. This rack had been recommended to her, not by me. I tried it to see what I thought, and could not rack any better with it than any other rack. Like others here have said, if you properly prepare the racking area by carefully tapping the balls down, one at a time, when you have a perfect rack, that is the best solution to racking problems. It takes two to perform that task - one pressing forward on the back row of balls in the rack to make sure the balls remain perfectly frozen with each other, dead on the spot, and dead in line in the back, and the other to carefully tap the balls one at a time.
