Assume: All the following players are playing their top game of 9 ball,on 9 ' ,race to 30,winner break,round robin,for big money, who would finish 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6? Buddy H,Earl S,Keith M, CJ ,Mike Segal,Johnny A .

When you say at the top of their game, meaning also highest gear. Earl has the highest gear I've ever seen, so I would go Earl, Sigel, then Archer then Hall, Keith and CJ.

At his peak, Keith had a high gear and could beat any of them on a given day, but wasn't really known as a tournament player. When he did play in tournaments, he was tough. Take a look at the picture below, taken off a wall at the Jointed Cue in Sacramento this weekend. I liked seeing his name up there. it's the Sacramento Open in 1979 - He double dipped Larry Hubbart, who was the 1977 world 9 ball champion, to win it.

The super bowl without Efren would not be complete. I would put him just a shade behind Earl in the modern 9 ball game. They have proven to be a dead heat, with Efren's stronger kicking and Earl's stronger break.
