Could someone assist me with some information on a 9' Diamond Pro Am. I need to know the outside dimensions of the table. I will be moving one and wanted to know what size box trailer i will need. (5x10 or 6x12 etc...) Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

5'4" x 9'6". I would highly recommend the 6' x 12' trailer! Good luck :)

Tagging on to an existing thread rather than creating another for a related question.

I'm building a pool room for a Diamond Pro Blue with the pedestal base (not the style with 4 legs). I'm going to tile directly under the table and carpet the rest of the room. I want to keep the tiled area as small as possible so as not to be stepping on the seam of the carpet/tile when playing on the table but want to ensure the pedestals are fully on the tile. Would you happen to know the dimensions of the outside of the 4 chrome pedestal feet? The Diamond web site has a simple diagram that indicates the base is 46" x 72", however it's not clear if this is the outside dimensions or to the center of the feet.

Appreciate your help.

Regards,
Michael

Whoot, another Diamond going in at MA, make sure you post your address so us locals can invite ourselves over. :grin-square: Leave a door unlocked, sometimes I can't get out to play till late and don't want to wake you with the doorbell.

Key is in the flower pot, beer is in the fridge. :)

What Diamond table do you have? Can't wait to get mine in. What started as 'paint and a new carpet' has turned into a 4 month project. But it's looking great.

Hope you're planning on moving it flat because there's not enough head room to stand it up in a Diamond dolly.

I don't have one, but I ran into another member on here that did and have been over his place a few times with my son to play. Actually went there for his Junior Nationals practice since they play those on Diamonds and the only new one in a room is a 7 footer in Ayer.

I have an 8 foot Olhausen I snagged for free off craigslist :) Did cost a few bucks for Simonis and tightened pockets though.

If you ever got Ayer, looks us up, we're there every tuesday at 7 for the tournament and every Sunday at about 2 for his league.

Here's an odd, but related question to my question on dimensions of the base of the table.

I don't want to be stepping on the seam of the carpet and tile when shooting. How far under the table are you likely to step? Based on the dimensions Diamond gave me (48x76 to outside of pedestal feed), I'll have 4 inches from the outside edge of the table (side rail) to the edge of the tile, based on how I'm planning to lay the tile. The foot of the table is 8 inches inside the side rail.

I'm thinking that one would step under at least 4 inches for some shots, and if so, in my design I'm going to be stepping on the seam.

I hope this makes sense, and isn't too stupid of a question. :)
