Does anybody know the weight of the slate in a 9' Diamond. I know it is a 1 piece that is 1 1/4" thick. I'm guessing around 700lbs. :(

Thanks.

There is another forum down below... I beleive it is ask the mechanic....
They probably would know the answer.... or you could call Diamond

slate weight

The one piece slate is 1" and I was told it comes in at about 680 pounds. I am sure there is some variance on that wieght.

Between 600 and 700 lbs. It is very heavy and awkward though. The best way to carry it would be with 8 guys, 6 minimum. You can thread some rope through the bolt holes and carry it upright.

I had a hellish time moving this thing around.

The 3 piece slate comes in at about 256lbs each, and the 9ft one piece slate is at about 618lbs.
