9 Mm Tip????? Need Your Help, Please!!

I assume your are talking about American 8-ball not UK 8-ball. If so, yes, that is too small. You will likely snap it.
Personally, I don't like a 9 mm snooker cue for the heavier pool balls.
I have a snooker cue - 9 mm - for snooker
And a proper pool cue - 10 mm - for pool
from the same maker. The only differences are the size of the joint, the diameter of the shaft, and the ferrule. The hits feels the same.
I have other pool cues with thicker shafts, but they feel like clubs by comparison.

11 mm is the ideal smallest tip size for the big pool balls. you'll just miscue and tend to overrun the CB alot with a 9mm.

It really depends on how advanced your game is and your shooting style. A 9mm tip usually means a finesse stick and if that isn't your style of shooting, rolling the balls around as little as possible, the 9mm tip might not be a good choice for the bigger heavier balls.

that 10mm should be fine, atleast for the ones who are used to it. but 9mm is already too small, IMO. I used both DUFF and Parris in the past. the tip or the tip section of the wood would break in no time. too much stress for a slender cue to handle.
