Strong recommendation to check out the new billiards documentary "96 Pounds of Dynamite" (about Chad McDaniel, who has brittle bone disease). Amazing and inspiring individual. The documentary started streaming last week on Amazon and Apple. My review at https://www.billiardsmovies.com/96-pounds-of-dynamite/

I also wrote a review on IMDb, although it was condensed into one paragraph. I absolutely loved the film. I’ve gotten to know Chad a bit over the years, and it’s amazing to see all that he's accomplished in his life. We’ve spent plenty of time sweating snooker and pool matches online together, sharing thoughts and reactions along the way.

What’s especially cool is seeing pool woven into the film, including the APA event in Vegas, with cameo appearances by Jason Bowman and the Striking Viking herself, Ewa Laurance. Chad has always loved playing pool. In fact, he was at an event this past weekend in Florida called “Great Cities” or something like that.

By the way, loved your review! Fantastic job with it as you truly seem to "get it" with the film.

Shorty

I rented this last night on Prime Video and I agree, it is a must watch. I am going to make my teenager watch it to see what it looks like to refuse to allow circumstances dictate attitude and outcome. Shorty is an inspiration.

I watched this with my wife. It was really well done. I found it especially interesting because I am someone who walked away from pool for 20 years due to physical issues. I knew I could not play as well as I thought I should or could any longer so I quit. His story is quite the opposite and I wish I had used his attitude instead. My issues (physically) are not even in the same universe as his, yet he started playing and accomplished quite a lot.
