Jrene a question for you. Do you have anything to do with the WPA?

If the answer is yes, I have another question.

How does the the WPA hold a "World Championship" in this day and age
that can't be viewed unless you happen to be there?

There are different hurdles that have to be met to be sanctioned by the WPA, ie so much added money
and so on.

Why is not one of the hurdles, that at least the so called "World Championship" has to be streamed to be called that and sanctioned!

I am just someone who loves billiards given information from SPAIN.
I juist colaborate with a couple of Billiards webs writing articles or in forum

I played senior BCA And VNEA this past month and I was able to get a press pass. I wrote about US One pocket and Us 10 ball.sending results to UK and Spain in special following Darren Appleton in One pocket because English people did want to know about his work in an almost unknown disciple in Europe. Mainly to Spanish Madpool and UK Pro9,co.uk, So I could enter to the playing room with no fees. there was not any obstacle to get the pass and infform, mainly the time when Appleton could be on TV.
THat´s all....

Bill Sotck one of the organizerof the US Opens told me that there was another competition on China bty the same time of US open so many Europeans were missing and only played 96. About the China competition I have not been able to find any information about it, So I do not know who went or who won it.

So Iam just an amateur informer hoping that people know results on time I just share my information

A lot of upsets today.

Shane's out, Chris Melling's out, Niels Feijen's out, and Fu Jianbo's out too. Mika Immonen and Huidji See just barely squeaked by with a couple of hill-hill games while Fong Pang Chao made short work of his UAE rival...

I don't think SVB was upset. Mazon is a very dangerous player, one of Philippines' top. It could go either way. But not an upset.

Jundel "Janno" Mazon is definitely a dangerous player, but his win over Shane is still an upset to most people parvus. I might consider Niels Feijen's lost to Naoyuki Oi as a coin toss though.

Jasmin's brother Albin is out, and Yang Ching Shun is through to the knockout stage...
