Yesterday i ran 11 games of 8ball with the second break dry so technically i ran 9pack (hopefully i counted racks correctly) The best part is i recorded the whole thing on youtube live stream so you can enjoy the show:D 9pack begins at 32:30 https://youtu.be/1X4mncbmyyA
P.s.: 9ft table ;)

Imagine what would happen if you had the correct magic rack:wink:

Imagine what would happen if I had better control over my power break :thumbup:
Now my magic rack is clearly not new but I can make 8b rack really tight with it even if it is designated for 10ball. Last row of balls doesnt bother me much to be honest ;)

What camera and software do you use to record the practice?

Nice pack. Keep going. What's your highest pack in 9 Ball?

Thx, I will keep trying  My best in 9b is 7pack, my high run in 14-1 is 142.

Edit: I use my new mobile phone Samsung Galaxy J5 and app named "CameraFi Live", you can make live stream on your youtube channel with that app and when you finish the stream the vid is saved for future viewing on your channel so you dont even have to upload it. Perfect solution for me :)

Thank you. I like all the games, to be honest I find 8ball a very intriguing game because there are so many choices to be made. Sometimes 8b is so easy while sometimes it can be one ride to hell and back. As you could see from the video I experienced both extremes during my practice session and two of the racks were a straight visit to a torture chamber, I was really happy when I made those outs

Nice job. Rock solid stroke, you play well.

yes, 8-ball requires precise cue ball control, and consistent potting skills, and the beauty of choice.

i like it when you play good players, you cant afford to miss, but when your opponent miss, you still need to make 6-7 balls to win, it still requires good thoughts and stroke, not an easy pick-up like 9ball or 10ball.

i can bang 9ball for fun, but for serious play, 10ball is the least i take. sometimes we play 2 sets out of 3 (8ball, 9ball, 10ball and 14.1), but rarely, only with a few other players.

Thanks for the link, good shooting...............

I'm betting his a great coach but I'm also betting you've spent some quality time at the table.

Here and there  I am just a hobby player who loves the game. I am not the most talented player and I dont have 8-10 hours a day to practice so I have to practice smart = I try to utilize my practice time the most efficient way possible with the brutal intensity, I believe it is the best way for me to improve. ;) And yes, I know that I should develop my tournament play as well against bigger competition as often as possible but without financial support from backer/sponsor it is tough, my club supports me to go to some smaller tournaments but thats about it, basically I spend all my tournament winnings on travelling to bigger tournaments or pool related stuff whenever possible, I dont want to hurt my home budget with my passion..
