A crappy Reuben Fisher Cue for sale

I commissioned a cue from Reuben Fisher last year in early September
I got the cue here and there in trickle pieces
Butt with one bad shaft
Let Reuben know
He said he would make a new shaft to go along with my second shaft I ordered
The two new shafts took forever
Once they arrived they both were bad as well
All three shafts I have from him the tip leaves the table like its playing hop scotch instead of pool

Selling this worthless cue for $100000000000 since I can not get a refund from Reuben Fisher as he promised me.

If the shafts and butt roll straight when apart, maybe the joint facing needs to be recut. The look of the butt joint facing looks like it's been sanded or something, that may keep the shafts uneven.

The butt face is clean
I saw that in his original post and asked him to make sure that it was clean and straight so that the shafts would have no issues

Well in the end it wasnt
I have tried endlessly to make things work with him and he has not made any attempt to refund me any amount of the money owed
 
So it is for sale or is this a post to show your dissatisfaction? If it is for sale, whats your price?

If it looks like it does in the pics, it is NOT flat... I can see the raised areas where it looks like some epoxy is there.

If it rolls straight apart there are only a couple of things it can be. The faces of the shafts or butt aren't flat or square, or the joint pin is off...

None of the glue gunk is there its clean....its probably just not straight
As stated I let Reuben Fisher know about that before the cue was sent out
and
He sends me one crooked ass cue

Im hoping this Reuben Fisher comes to his senses and knows how bad he screwed me over
If he can send me the refund and make it right...he would be a man of his words
If not I will our local GREAT cue maker Jim Ingram to see if he can fix it
I know for a fact he can make a proper cue
 
I know ruban and he is a good cuemaker sometimes this just dont work out if there is a problem with it he will make it right or there is more to the story that we dont know nevertheless he is experiancing helth issues right now and that might be the issue with his slow response in taking care of this he is a stand up guy and makes a good cue there is a lot of them out there im sure he will work this out with you it looks like the joint needs faced off pretty easy fix if it rolls straight
 
I have sent a PM for this OP to call me. I understand your displeasure 100 % !! I also know that your aware of Mr. Fisher has been on a donor list for a matched kidney and after 6-1/2 years, he received the call and has had the surgery. He is now taking the next steps to hopefully have the kidney work with his system so he can enjoy a normal life. His brother died about 3 years ago, so, I am praying for Mr. Fisher. With this news, I find it puzzling why the OP would start a post here after he has learned what is happening to Mr. Fisher in the forum section

Again, as your totally unhappy with the cue and I know Mr. Fisher, I'll try my best to work something out with you on Mr. Fisher's behalf. This is the best offer I can make at this point, hopefully, you will give me a call and get something resolved.

This of course is not my problem, but, I am willing to try.

i have been patient on this cue issue for a long time
it just didnt happen overnight here

as I said I want no ill will towards Reuben
all I want is my refund that is correctly owed to me
you know the story behind all of this
I just didnt cook all of this up out of nowhere
I have been extremely patient and nice
Health issues aside when you agree to commission a cue you stand by it
Stating in April it is no issue to have this cue with two shafts and once all said and done in December its not what it is

You are a good man for trying to take care of the issue
I hope we can come to some type of arrangement
Waiting to hear from you
