I use Kamui now, so far it's the best tip I have ever used, but I have never tried the ultra layered one, to be honest. That's why I didn't vote. You never know , I might like it better if I had a chance to try, but I am not gonna take my Kamui off my cue and replace it with some other tip. If I see someone who uses ultra layered tip, I will ask them to let me try to hit with it.:smile:

Yes, I have try all Kamui tips. I still like this UltraSkinLayered played very good consistency on Medium "Silver" , and Soft "Gold". I have test play with both tips. But I like Soft bettery just my personal opinion.

I've tried both. Nothing can compete with Kamui at this time.


I tested two of your tips on my cue when you started promoting. They hit good. Sorry the Kamui hits better.
If they play better now send me one SS. If it plays equal or better and it doesn't cost more I won't build a cue that doesn't have your tip.

Have been playing with kamui ss tips for a while now. a friend gave me a ultraskin med soft to try put it on my other shaft been playing with it for two weeks now love it. wish i would have found it befor the i found kamui.

I agree, kamui has a better tip.... But, I think the poll should have said: Which is the better bargain.
I also feel most league players will never spend kamui money for a tip. Tom's tip is a great tip for the price.

Ultraskin layered tip

I've played with the Kamui Black Soft, which I thought played very well. But I changed to Tom's medium soft tip and find it grabs the ball better for draw and english, and I love it. It also hold its shape well. I'm extremely happy so far, no complaints. Haven't played with it long enough to test its longevity, but it's needed no reshaping for more than a month's play.
