Just another quick thanks from me personally to all who helped and contributed to the cause. I did get BHQ's check yesterday afternoon and I am looking for Allen's today or tomorrow. I was going to wait til after the camp to post as the kids are going to be writing a thank you letter to all on AZ for their help alsong with a couple of photos from the camp.
Just as I am writing I got the mail gal at the door with the Money Order from Allen. A most generous offering to a great cause. Should be hearing all about the camp in a couple of weeks. God Bless all of you and I will be finding my owm way to try and say thank you to all and give a little something back.

i see no reason at all why we cant start a fund to send old poolplayers &
old worn out cuemakers to camp , any camp :grin:
I think they have such a thing. All kinds of activities. Zimmer frame races, Read a sentence without glasses or squinting contest, Memory challenges, Highest waistband on slacks classic and dribbling at dinner open. I hear its awesome for the old cuemakers.
Then of course the generous pool players camp have activities that challenge the common sense. This group will give up $20-$600 in a heartbeat to send a couple of kinds to Church Camp but will woof and negotiate a game for $20 for 2 hours. There is a pool advertised and cabanas but nobody ever actually sees daylight and so who cares. Time is reversed by 12 hours and so 9am becomes 9pm just makes more sense for getting up and out, why fool ourselves?
Contests for actually plays better after 6 beers and who can give the best excuse as to why they are not playing as good as usual. All in all a great time.
