Had Trent over today straightening out my Gold Crown IV after a poor install by a previous mechanic. Trent is professional and takes pride in his work. My table now plays the way it's supposed to with a working ball return. I couldn't be happier. I now have the Gold Crown IV I've dreamed of. Thanks Trent!

It's great to hear things finally got worked out! In previous posts you mentioned that you sent your rails to Mark Gregory and he sent them back to you with superspeeds installed. How do you like them? Which brand of cloth did you settle on?

I wholeheartedly second the endorsement of Trent and his work (should have been first - sorry, Trent). He recovered the 13 tables in my homeroom (Pressure in Chicago) and did a great job, fixing all the subpar work of the previous guy and "tuning up" the tables as he went. He also returned a few weeks later (day before yesterday) to tweak a couple of other lingering problems. Very thoughtful, responsible and responsive, even all the way from Toledo.

On top of his great work and service ethic, Trent's a fun guy to hang around all day! Thanks, Trent - you're definitely our go-to guy now!

Trent is certainly one of the good guys! He and I have yet to meet up, but it will happen...probably in FL. Pat...so I'm guessing the rail cloth on your table by the door got fixed? Had a great lesson on that table last Friday and Saturday (3/30-3/31). Trent...see you soon! Keep up the good work!

Mark's rails play great and his work is top notch. The rails play very consistent and accurate. The cloth is Simonis 860 in Simonis Green.

Yes, Scott, he came back just to fix small rail cloth problems on two tables - they were pulling loose from their "feather strips"(?), which were too small for the grooves and had been a little carelessly refitted by the previous guy.

+1 Trent’s a good guy & does great work. He set up my new-to-me GC1 along with superspeeds & 860 cloth a couple years ago & I’m still loving every second playing on it!

Trent

I had Trent set up my GC III in January. Total professional. Plays and looks great!! I wrote a review in the Pool Table and Accessories Forum. I would provide a link, but alas, that is above my computer knowledge. It is a fun read for anyone interested.

Plus Trent is a Dealer for Diamond Tables as well. Just in case you are going to the Dark Side.

;)

I bumped ... would like to hear from people that enjoyed his work or other. I deleted but renewing. There are a handful of techs around that can deliver. We need them to stay on their toes with quality and consistency. If we like their work let them know. If some is wrong let them know. And let us know. I have not used Trent yet but have him on speed dial for an ongoing project. He’s the one to call right now.
I DID NOT BUMP IT
GOLDCROWN DID

it makes me look bad when he deleted his bump
i am not trying to stir anything
i have no more comments on the subject
