A few in the making

Hey Joey, I know I have a Purpleheart and a Brazilian Rosewood in the works. You can show them whenever you are up to it. I always love to see your woods. As far as the shafts I, as always, trust your judgement as the hit of your Bubinga I'm shooting with now is beyond superb!

Take Care.

Cut a bunch of woods' corners today.
Will be cutting more today.
Thanks for the order guys.
I should be busy the next two years at least.
I am looking for another lathe. Possibly another short one b/c of the workload .

Cut a bunch more.
The JT bocote-bem combo model is getting popular.
Got a few honey colored defect two-tone BEM's in there. 2 handles for sure and 3 cues . I'm just gonna make them and a dealer is already willing to take them all .
Yuri and BNALL, your projects are in there too.
ML we got some deep purplehearts in there.

Tribute cue to my mentor, Kerry Zeiler.
Collar was done his way.
Afaik Kerry invented the threaded stag collars.
Bill Hagan inspired him to use stag after seeing Hagan's cues.
Kerry took another step by torquing them on with threads and using the best golf epoxy to hold them.
He liked them long ( 3/4 or 7/8 with 3/8 for the shafts ).

The E ring is his pattern. Twin dashes bordering phenolic and micarta dashes plus two phenolic thick borders . Stag buttplate was a popular add-on too for a unique look. They are a pain to make and kinda dangerous. I don't like making them at all.
