A first hello -

Want to make a very brief introduction. I've enjoyed AZB too long as a lurker and must now say thanks for all the wisdom, characters, info and giggles. I look forward to joining you all and hopefully adding something to our discussions.

Re-started my pool mania three years ago. Had about 20 years off since playing for cold beer in college. Now I'm in two/three leagues a week and often play in a small local tournament (usually a very understanding wife).

My small city in NW MO is predominently a bar box pool crowd, with a couple of real pool halls with 9 ft Brunswicks. I don't practice enuf on my 8 ft home table. My game is somewhere around a B or B+ and falls in the top 20% in this area. Always working to improve.

Enuf about me --- Good to be here! :p

Good to have you on board........wishing you a positive expereince here on the forum.

Hey - Thanks for the Welcome!

A bit rushed for a Monday am. but getting in gear.... Thx Rude Dog, Edyie, Vagabond, ribdoner, Onemoreyouth and all ------

The fish is a Northern Pike from an Ontario trip(definately non-Missouri!). Do hunt muskies regularly in a local lake.

Happy rolls in your new week -----:p

Nice fish. As to your name, I've always found jigging one of the least enjoyable kinds of fishing. I've always enjoyed jerk baits, cranks, divers, spinners... active stuff a little more interesting. So, I commend you for the fish and for having a lot more patience in jigging. It's clearly rewarded you. :-)

Iacas --- Your exactly right! Jigging is DULL fishing:( , only have that amt of patience when fishing for wallys, maybe croppies. This 46 incher was caught on a deep crankbait.

Have a very competitive relationship w/my boss. He's the real "Jigger", he sarcastically calls me "CASTER" cause I'd prefer keeping busy with accurate casts.. Oh well what's in a name. :o Much prefer a big spinnerbait, or crankbait
. For our local muskie lake often use a big bucktail or spoon.
