What glus is most popular for a joint? Thanks
ThanksWest System 206.
This is what I use also.West System 206.
Good point.be aware that West system is thin and will soak in.......... you risk a dry joint if you don't apply it and wait for it to soak in then re apply and put it together
Must have .Good point.
If you have glue relief slots like you should you fill the hole full of glue and let it soak in for about 5 minutes then slowly screw the pieces together letting that force out the excess glue. No dry spot problems to worry about, just go slow to not build up to much hydraulic pressure and get the sound of disaster, the split forearm.
Yup.This is what you need to know.
ON ANY glues/epoxies.
LEARN ABOUT THEM. PERIOD!
Don't be the guy who does something because SOMEONE told him to.
Be the guy who does something because he learned about it and knows it's best for him.
I always file a slight flat on one side of the tenon for glue reliefGood point.

I'm sure they are very helpful. Remember the woods we work with are OUTSIDE the box when it comes to some inatructional video's.Yup.
And West System even has free videos to watch and learn from .
So, do other epoxy brands .
